Refunds
Refunds follow the Booking’s locked-in cancellation terms and return to the original tender.
How refunds work
Traveler cancellation refunds follow the cancellation policy that was locked in when the Booking was created.
- Flexible — full refund until 1 day before check-in; no refund after.
- Moderate — full refund until 7 days before check-in; 50% refund until 1 day before; no refund after.
- Firm — full refund until 14 days before check-in; 50% refund until 7 days before; no refund after.
Where the refund goes
Refunds return to the original payment method or Travel Credits used for the Booking.
- Card-funded value returns to the original payment method.
- Travel Credits used to pay for the Booking return to Travel Credits.
- Mixed card-and-credit payments are restored proportionally.
Host cancellations
If the Host or ViaPads cancels the Booking, the Traveler receives the full remaining Booking value back to the original payment method or Travel Credits used.
Resolution Center
Issues during or after a stay may be reviewed through the Resolution Center. Any approved financial adjustment is handled separately from safety reporting and follows the Booking’s actual payment history.
