Event visibility
Event creators choose the visibility level:
- Public — visible to all ViaPads members
- Link-only — visible only with a direct link
What others can see
For public events, members can see:
- Event title, description, and general area
- Date and time
- Number of attendees (not individual names)
After joining
Once you join an event:
- You may see more details (exact location, host contact)
- You can message the organizer
- You can see other attendees who have opted in
Privacy controls
- Your attendance is not shown publicly
- You can leave an event at any time
- Hosts can remove disruptive attendees
Social Mode
Events have a vibe indicator (quiet, moderate, social) so you know what to expect before joining.
