ViaPads retains 20% of the original Pad list price on every Booking. Host waivers come only from the Host's 80% share.
ViaPads service fee
There is no monthly fee to keep a Pad on ViaPads. ViaPads retains 20% of the original Pad list price on every Booking.
Hosts can set any base list price of $5 per night or more and can optionally reduce the Traveler price by contributing up to 80% of the original list price from their Host share.
For example, a $50 Pad with an 80% Host-funded reduction produces:
- $10 Traveler price
- $10 ViaPads service fee
- $0 Host net
Paid Add-Ons use the same 20% ViaPads / 80% Host economics where applicable.
What the fee supports
The ViaPads service fee supports payment processing, fraud prevention, trust and safety, identity verification, platform operations, member support, and investment in ViaPads Rewards.
Eligible Travelers earn 5% back in ViaPoints on completed paid stays. That Rewards investment is funded by ViaPads and does not reduce the Host payout.
Transparency
Hosts set their own prices. Booking and payout records show the Booking value, ViaPads service fee, any Host-funded reduction, the ViaPads Rewards investment on eligible completed stays, and Host net earnings.
