Booking approval
Request to Stay requires Host approval, then Traveler payment within the shown payment window before the Booking is confirmed.
How Request to Stay works
When a Traveler sends a Request to Stay, the Host can review the dates, Setup, profile information, and any special request.
The Host can:
- Approve — opens a temporary payment window and holds the Pad dates
- Decline — closes the request and releases the dates
Approval does not by itself confirm the Booking. The Traveler must complete payment within the payment window shown in ViaPads. The Booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds.
Book Instantly
Pads that offer Book Instantly do not require Host approval before checkout. Payment must still succeed before the Booking is confirmed.
Host response
Respond promptly when you can. Clear, timely communication helps Travelers plan and keeps Pad availability accurate.
